Embody Order
Here. Judge says that sheriff can fill out the form like he chooses (in this case stating the sheriff gave more info) and that is considered executed. The determination for approval, says the judge, lies with ATF.

I wonder how many other gubmint forms you’re allowed to modify and then expect approval?
And maybe Embody can push the issue by challenging the sheriff to show his hand. If he thinks Embody is such a risk to public safety, state your reasons and make your case.

Is this the guy who took a walk with his AK? If it is, he is an idiot. Trying to ‘martyr’ oneself is a bad idea. Yes, I know. That is beside the point. A gun, is a gun. It is, what it is. Nothing more. An inanimate object. Yes, I know. For the life of me, I just can’t seem to make any sense, out of the fact, that people who own an AK, seem to want to martyr themselves. Must be Bushes’ fault.

Leonard Embody said he is going to send this ruling to all TN sheriffs:

Apparently, he figures that if more sheriffs start denying NFA sign-offs, it’ll help his cause.

I think that’s the sound of TN’s shall-sign law dying…

I sent the court decision to the police chief and sheriff organizations in Tennessee. I am not going to appeal the ruling. I think that we’ll see more and more CLEOs refusing to execute because of the decision.
There are so many who think that sticking their fingers in their ears or hands over their eyes and ignoring my suit was a good idea. How’s that working?
I’m setting up a trust and the transfer will be approved just as my FFL was approved lst week.

Well hopefully whatever stunt you pull with that suppressor gets nobody hurt. If you used Quicken to make that trust, then I imagine we’ll get a good example of someone being convicted for unlawful possession because of an improper trust. Well, here’s hoping anyway.
