I’m all for hippie-punching
You know, in the abstract. Not so much really punching them.
If you’re an advocate of firearms rights like open carry, then dragging a lady to the ground because she’s acting like an idiot is not the way you go about telling folks that we gunnies aren’t violent. Those actions will be generalized to the folks in your movement whether you like it or not. More here.

Rand fans aren’t violent? Sean Hannity begs to disagree.
Libertarians gone wild.
Tell me, o, holy and high, non-aggressive Libertarians, why do you hate freedom?

Rush Limbaugh had a nice bio about Ms. Valle on his show yesterday. Turns out she’s a LONG Time “Left Wing Activist” who like to create a scene to get on the News, then whine about how the Right is causing all the Problems. Isn’t it funny that all the so-called assaults reported at the various Political events in the MSM lately have been initiated by the Left?
I’m old enough to remember “Squeaky Fromm”, and if someone in a wig tried to run through a crowd to get to a candidate, I’d try to stop them, no matter what the sex or political leaning.
But seeing how this is being spun on the Left, any Legal use of Force against them when they attack is being Propagandized as “PROOF” that the Right is just a mass of gun toting Fascists.
Expect more street violence from the Left in the Future, because as sure as God made little green apples, Marxists will NOT give up any Political Power they have unless you “pry it from their cold dead hands”.
Guess we’re living in “Interesting Times”, as the Chinese would say.

Shootin’ Budy: This is pretty much why I left the Libertarian Party.
Too open minded. Reluctant to ostracize obvious nutcases until they finally publicly pee on the carpet.
The second they initiated the use of force against some idiot who was merely mouthing off, they stopped being libertarian. It is a serious failure on Paul’s part to have failed to identify this moron as a violent moron earlier.
October 27th, 2010 at 1:45 pm
OK Les … I didn’t know she was trying some kind of assault on Paul.
Still a fail. If you are going to be even a volunteer bodyguard, you need to learn how to make an arrest properly.
And how to not look like in insane thug where cameras are about. If she had gotten Tazed instead of curbstomped, we wouldn’t be having a conversation of this tone.

It’s O.K. if WE do it, the eternal afterthought of Libertarians.
During the NRA Convention in Louisville the Paulities would not leave us alone downtown. In addition to blocking traffic they would run up and down the sidewalks (as if they owned them) with oversized “Ron Paul for President” nearly knocking my elderly father down twice.
I yelled at them and the response was that it was O.K. as it was for a “good cause”. Ummm, yeah, doesn’t everyone think that? But Libertarians are different, thugs for freedom!
October 27th, 2010 at 5:23 pm
In itself, Uncle’s not wrong. At the same time, “partisan opponent rushes candidate, gets tackled” isn’t exactly news.
The head-stomping after she was held was over the line even if it was intended to hold her and not assault her, and I don’t wish to excuse that, but I wonder if this isn’t the Alinsky technique of making your opponent live up to his values and standards by deliberately putting them in no-win situations. If the 110 pound woman gets tackled then that gets photographed and they run with that. If the standard is, wigged women get to rush Republican candidates, then I’m sure she can work with that also.

Libertarians? I thought Rand was a Republican.
October 27th, 2010 at 5:53 pm
> Libertarians? I thought Rand was a Republican.
Some libertarian are Republicans. Some Republicans are libertarians. I’ve been a registered Republican for 38 years, even occasionally a party activist, and considered myself a libertarian that whole time.
October 27th, 2010 at 6:56 pm
“Libertarians? I thought Rand was a Republican.”
Rand Paul is a Libertarian and the smelly, drunken hilljacks that assaulted my father and I in Louisville were Libertarians as well. What is surprising is that marijuana allegedly makes you mellow but this certainly shows that meme to be false.
The rotten-tooth banjo is on television in Louisville decrying how he is “owed an apology”. Really, Jasper, after applying some Libertarian street justice to a girl, you self-righteous twit?
Libertarians don’t want to leave you allow; Libertarians want to kick you in the head until you do what they say.
October 27th, 2010 at 7:04 pm
That should read:
“Libertarians don’t want to leave you alone; Libertarians want to kick you in the head until you do what they say.”
Permission is give to put that on a t-shirt and give the money to the RNC.

A person in a disguise, carrying a sign from a radical organization, tries to push through the crowd to hand a political opponent an unknown object. What would the Secret Service have done to her?
October 27th, 2010 at 8:35 pm
I heard about this one on the radio today. It seems like it got a crapload more press than any of the assaults the purple SEIU thugs ever got.
Hmmmmm.
October 27th, 2010 at 11:39 pm
Kristopher: Not saying that excessive force was not used by one of the guys on the Paul Campaign, agree on that. But a second video has shown up from a different angle showing Valle running to the SUV and trying to shove her sign into Paul’s face through the open window where he was waving to the crowd. FoxNews showed it at the 7:00 pm EDT Fox Report and I believe it’s on the RedState site. Take a look at it.
Politics can be dangerous, and being in Public is a risk to take if you want reach the Masses. Just ask Lincoln, Garfield, Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman, JFK, George Wallace, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, Benhizer Bhutto….She broke through the perimeter, she was put down, and maybe got stomped. But also notice that the guy on the ground holding her in a wristlock told the guy with the foot to get off her head. We’ll see what the Judge says.
As for the Libertarians, not that big up here in the Heart of AFL-CIO country, so I haven’t much experience with them. I’ll take your word about them, but as a Conservative I tend to go to a Different Church.

Wow, media propaganda rearing its ugly head here at the Uncle. I love the insinuation of Libertarian violence, and dare not debate the partisan faithful about the right wing violent history versus Libertarians as I am sure that is one debate no one could defend. Confusing raised voices against failed policies seems to now be interpreted as violence because the talking heads said so, aside from the utter violent act of blocking traffic in protest, I cant believe that the DHS allows these terrorists to walk the streets!
Would it change anyones opinion about the stomping of said nut job if earlier that same night she attempted to strike Rand Paul in the head through an open car window with her sign? Would it make more sense if the head stomper had recognized her from the earlier event and thought she might be a threat and violent (perhaps even a Libertarian terrorist fraught with violent thought)? I implore the partisan political Stockholm sufferers to watch the video below of events from earlier that night, and to please stop the self defeating attacks of Libertarians who are your allies in protecting the constitution, even if Fox news says otherwise.

Uhh, yeah.?..?
Sean Hannity said so? Good enough for me. how could I disagree with a paid Washington millionaire insider who for 8 years adamantly supported the failed partisan Bush policies? it is amazing the power celebrity has over some people. I am not sure if it is that powerful, or apathy has allowed people to stop all free thinking and research on their own, and taking the partisan pundits every word as fact? Regardless, the opinions expressed are very real and scary for those who desire to stop corruption and tyranny in our life times. I will not knock the poster as it is obvious he is sincere in his beliefs, but it should raise an alarm to the majority to see how easily public opinion can be skewed, even when it is self defeating.

Look at the video again people, the man did not step on her head, nor did he stomp her head. What he did was put his foot on her back to hold her down and he shoved her a little in the back. It seemed to be ok for most of you lefties when SEIU did it during the run up to the vote on health care not. Now I don’t condone what he did but I too remember Squeaky Froome and her actions. I also recall what happened to George C. Wallace, Robert F. Kennedy and all the others. I don’t think you can take a chance with people like those stupid lefties and their tricks.

“Sean Hannity said so? Good enough for me.”
If you don’t believe Sean Hannity, you can do your research and watch the vidoe of the peace-loving, non-aggressive Libertarians chasing Sean down the street.
“how could I disagree with a paid Washington millionaire insider who for 8 years adamantly supported the failed partisan Bush policies?”
Disagree all you want, Sean Hannity isn’t going to stomp your head into the curb like the Liberathugians.

Here’s the video so you do not have to lower yourself to believe Sean Hannity:
http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/80993641/
This is similar peace-loving behavior that I witnessed in Louisville except they were not forming a mob, just Liberathugians running up and down sidewalks with big signs.
