expectations, low
I’m pretty sure, right now somewhere, the Republicans are having a meeting and planning exactly how they’re going to fuck up this supposedly historic win. Count on it. It’s what they do. They did it in 1994 and 2002. They’ll do it again. My word of advice to them is to remember that this is not a mandate nor is it an acceptance of any agenda you idiots are putting together now. It is a rejection of the current state of affairs. If you, as I expect, continue doing the same expansion of government power and spending only with your name on it (like you did in the Bush years), you’ll be done. Get spending and government expansion under control. Don’t get all ban gay cooties and PATRIOT Act 3 on us.
Don’t fuck it up, Sparky.

Can’t believe you don’t support the fight against the Gay Agenda!!!! The gays are trying to take over America!!!!! You obviously don’t know WHAT you are talking about!!!!!!!

Maybe we should let the gays run the joint for a while. Neither the Democrats OR the Republicans seem to be able to do it very well.

If they do, will it be Third Party time in America?
November 3rd, 2010 at 10:20 am
It really is a shame there isn’t a third party that can compete with the gruesome twosome. If there were a national gay party and they had their ducks in a row and were able to compete at the national level, I’d be all for it.

Watching interviews last night it’s evident they don’t get it. They think the public likes and wants them, when really it’s the public wanting the anti-Obama — there’s a difference.
They don’t realize the true root of what’s going on, and for all their talk of listening to the public they aren’t and won’t. They will continue business as usual and will fuck it up royally. If they don’t, I’ll be happy to be surprised.

Oh, there is a mandate alright. You pigs want to keep gorging at the public trough then take your obscene salaries and perks, stop passing all laws except steady state the federal budget at 2000 levels and otherwise leave us the he’ll alone. Otherwise we fire the rest of you asses.
P.S. Roll back Obamacare or else.

I dunno about the gays. The whole gay thing is about master and slave so I just can’t buy into anyone whose belief system is wrapped around that.
As to the Tea Party, they rock. BTW I did vote for one democrat at the local level.
And we voted out 1/3 of the court that oked same sex marriage. Got to love that one.
And no, I’m not gay bashing here, I just can’t see their point, so to speak.
And yes, the republicans had better do this one right or in 2012 we will boot them out again.

If I had to put my money on the GOP co-opting the Tea Party folks or vice versa, my money is on the GOP.
Anyone who thinks the GOP won’t fuck it up isn’t paying attention.

Back to the Constitution for a CHANGE!!
November 3rd, 2010 at 1:48 pm
yeah, as soon as the Republicans go pro-gay cooties, it would be all over for that party.
November 3rd, 2010 at 3:33 pm
Well, IF the US would let us gays run the place…shit wouldn’t be broken (us lesbians and handy our tool belts) and it will all look FABULOUS!!! (self explanatory)
Where’s the downside???

Lesbians and tool belts? I’ve seen that movie 🙂

Hey, does anyone know what the Republican theme was this election? I saw the Tea Party and I saw some Republicans get on board, but what would the Republican platform had been if the Tea Party hadn’t got save America on it?
The weren’t even running well as “not the Obama”. I’m just curious for historical record and all.
