We once had a word for short-barrelled rifles.
“Pistol”.

For pics of my “saturday nite” Reising SMG, see my 1-27-2009 post on Northeastshooters under “general discussion”. This is a one-off and there are no others like it. Jack.

Nice guns for head shots on Zombies, if anyone needs an excuse to tell the wife, right? “Christmas is coming, how happy we will be….”

I got a folding stock for my Ruger 10/22 when a local sporting goods store was going out of business. Now I can attach my Butler Creek banana clip and have an assault 22 that causes faint hearts to fail and strong ones to beat faster! Or at least to make anyone at the range who realizes what I actually have to smile to themselves.
I could not resist at the closeout price for the stock. And the 10/22 looks much more comfortable in the gun safe stored beside the milsurp rifles.

I am no fan of stockless normal-bore longarms, but I agree that you can put a .22 in anything.
What is the rule for barrel length and overall length for non-NFA rifles, if anybody knows, please?

For rifles, 16 inch barrel and 26 inch overall. I’m not a lawyer blah blah blah.

Thank you.
(I’m supposed to know these things but I have moved up to a better class of clients and have gotten out of the loop. 😉 )
