Preemption upheld in Cleveland
NRA reports on Buckeye Firearms Association’s lawsuit:
Today, the Cuyahoga County Court struck down the City of Cleveland’s scheme of restrictive gun laws still on the books despite Ohio law, which clearly prohibits such municipal gun ordinances. The Court ruled in favor of gun owners in the National Rifle Association-supported case of Buckeye Firearms Foundation, Inc. v. City of Cleveland.

Awesome. I don’t use that word often, but when I do….I really mean it.

Unpossible. According to the Bashers the NRA never files lawsuits; this must have been the work of the SAF or GOA.

Doesn’t matter. In spite of losing Cleveland vs. State months ago, the DemiCommie Political Machine that’s been running Cleveland for decades will appeal this decision, even though they don’t have a snowballs chance in hell. Then they’ll just violate the law, even if they lose all the way to SCOTUS. After all, these same great Minds who have helped to drive Cleveland into the Ground, losing Jobs and Population KNOW what’s best for you.

Uhm: Buckeye Firearms Foundation, Inc. v. City of Cleveland.
Not sure what NRA’s involvement was.

From the NRA alert:
“In 2009, Buckeye Foundation, Inc., with NRA’s assistance, challenged these ordinances”
Sounds like the NRA helped them set up the case.
