Tactical Racker
Saw this in American Riflemen this week. But Hatfield’s Gunsmithing has an improved racker for Glocks. This would be useful for racking the gun with one hand.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Why not just use the rear sight like everybody else? Why put bulky, wide, snaggy things on your gun?

I guess if you never carry it against skin, that thing wouldn’t hurt much.
But, uh, hu??? I’m missing any desire for this thing.

Somehow I think that racking the slider on the side of your jeans pocket is just begging to kneecap or shoot yourself in the foot.

But Hatfield says it’s for Tactical Glocks! What if my Glock isn’t in Rare Dark Earth? Will it still work?

A piece of grip tape on the top of the slide behind the ejection port works well and is less expensive.

That would actually be pretty sweet if you were building a USPSA Open division gun on a Glock. A lot of time it’s hard to get a good grip on the slide of open guns because the mount for the sight interferes with the traditional area to grab the slide.

Those remind me of the peg thingies people put on the back tires of bicycles so their friends can ride along!

It looks like a great idea, esp. for people who have physical problems with using the slide serrations….
…but “Tactical Racker” just sounds wrong in so many ways…..

Have you seen those cheap ass sights?

Watched the Trijicon rep at NRAAM rack the slide on the demo glock using the demo RMR mount against his belt. The only reason he didn’t do it off the counter was “the counter will get torn up”. (He did later on bang it fairly hard against something else in the booth)

If it can catch on your jeans pocket or steering wheel on purpose it can catch on a lot of other stuff on accident. FAIL.
