Not a bad phone… had mine since release day (replaced an HTC Incredible). Mine seems to randomly reboot here and there (often when sitting untouched on my desk). I do kind of miss the integration of Facebook with HTC Sense. It was nice having profile photos automatically pop up when people call… Unfortunately I don’t miss it enough to download them manually and add to the contacts…
A few random things about ICS that annoy me, mainly the menu button sometimes being on the bottom of the screen, sometimes on the top.
I also assume it is too large for the tactical phone slot in your G37.
I’ve had a GNex since launch day, as well. Trust me… if you want to change something (software-wise), there is a way to do it. Or there will be, shortly. Programmers LOVE Nexus devices. Mine is unlocked, but not rooted. I am currently running Android 4.0.4, which was an unofficial internet leak that has improved virtually all of my issues to some extent.
As for FB contact pics and the like, there are several apps that will take care of that. Check out “Friendcaster” in the market.
Haven’t made the leap for a super phone yet. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Samsung Galaxy, so it’s probably the one I’d go with if I took the plunge.

Good luck with it, my daughter has had pure hell with hers… Random reboots, lost emails, phone call cutoffs.

Great, someone confused “social networking” with stalking.

Linoge, we were shooting at a range associated with my friends at luckygunner, with whom you’ve not exactly been friendly.
