Environmental guru goes skeptical on whatever we’re calling global warming these days
Yup: The problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing. We thought we knew 20 years ago. That led to some alarmist books – mine included – because it looked clear-cut, but it hasn’t happened

Yawn…meanwhile every other physical sciences body in the industrialized world says this guy is a loon.
The hope that one essentially anecdotal data point like this might undermine what you really wish wasn’t the case…a sad thing, really.

And you keep saying that. Yawn.

The “sad thing” is that the AGW community continues to pretend that its half-assed, irreproducible, cherry-picked data crap is “science” when they’ve corrupted the scientific process.

Just out of curiosity, how many scientists have to change their minds before you start thinking “hey, maybe theres something to this?”
Alternatively, how many times do the ones that say “ZOMG WE’RE ALL GONNA BURN!” have to be wrong before you start putting down your ideology and start looking at real world data?

Everytime an anecdotal data point is brought up, he points out it is just one anecdotal data point.

Still waiting on that so-called “Nuclear-Type” Winter we were supposed to be having starting 30 years ago.

It looked “clear cut” 20 years ago because you were using false premises there, Skippy.
When I was a little kid, we were taught to live in morbid fear of the comming ice age, being brought on, of course, by capitalism. That’s child abuse. So far, no charges have been filed. Where’s the Social Justice?

Yes, because it’s true, and you have to have a really poor understanding of science to find this recent event noteworthy or of any significance scientifically.
Not that facts get in the way of good rants, I know.
