Hmm – interesting post. Uncle is placing his credibility on the line by stating this as true. His citation is to a blog I’ve never heard of. It’s citation is to the Huffington Post, a blog that consistently lies. The Huffington Post doesn’t provide any citations, links, or videos.
The story might happen to be true, but there is not the slightest reason to think that any part of it is true.

Uncle needs no defense from me, but I must say that you lack critical reading skills. The quotes come directly from a recorded transcript of a phone call placed by DesJarlis and recorded BY HIM.
The article in question says that “The congressman, Rep. Scott DesJarlais of Tennessee, was trying to save his marriage at the time, according to his remarks on the call, made in September of 2000. And, according to three independent sources familiar with the call and the recording, he made the tape himself.”
The article further notes that “DesJarlais, who was provided a copy of the transcript by HuffPost, did not deny its contents…” Hardly gotcha politics. The dumbass made a tape in which he repeatedly and persistently pressured his ex-girlfriend to get an abortion. He’s the person who pushed it forward so that he could “fix” his “problem.” It’s a matter of public record because it’s in his divorce papers.
It’s not slander if it’s true.

Probably why it shouldn’t be legal to kill a child who just so happens to be inconvenient. Keep it holstered, and discharge it in a safe direction.
