I’ve been torn between thinking of Clinton-Obama lovers as stupid or just ignorant. Given the huge number of “high earners” and “degreed professionals in their camp, the migration of wealth makes it clear that it must be learned stupidity.
Why else would any allegedly educated person or group take steps to drive the best and brightest from their midst?
Though a lot of us avoid them like the plague. For what is – to us, anyway – obvious reasons.
“…torn between thinking of Clinton-Obama lovers as stupid or just ignorant.”
Neither. They know what they’re doing and why. They just have completely different standards, and different goals, than you. They’re neither stupid nor ignorant. They’re evil. They don’t worry about capital flight, or brain drain, or any of that.
For one thing, the Cloward/Piven strategy works for them when things go to hell– more economic failure = more dependents = more Democrats. Overload and collapse the system into a new system. Top Down, Bottom Up, Inside Out.
For another thing, eventually they believe they’ll get their hands on your wealth no matter where you go, and in the meantime, when you die they get a share no matter what.
Sure; there are always those who are fooled by the selling points (economic and social justice, “working together”, “The People’s this and the People’s that” and so on) and so if those are the only ones you mean, then yes. They are ignorant, but mostly they are mesmerized.
At this rate how long will it be before the red states taxes are paying for the blue states welfare. Always get tired when the progressives pull that canard out.

Money is not capital. It is a commodity. Keep trying. $46 billion rounding error in a global economy, kids. Catch up.

As I’ve said before, money is how you keep score. It’s not even a commodity.

Yeah, but they bring their politics with them. “We fucked up the last state we were in. Let’s do it again, only HARDER!“

It is a commodity as it can be exchanged. Simple as that. That is has a number on the front makes its accountable.
