We reserve the right to refuse service
Well, if they can make you serve someone, there’s not much they can’t force you to do.

The theory of the case is nothing new; the Civil Rights Act said:
All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, and privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, as defined in this section, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin.
I’m not sure if there’s another state or federal law that applies this principle to sexual orientation, but no — since 1964 you have been barred by law from refusing service because of certain specific reasons.

A business owner should be able to refuse service to anyone and for any reason.
If the business owner’s stance is in fact unpopular, then a truly free market will provide alternatives.

So, they want to force someone to prepare some food for them, against preparers will? What could possibly go wrong? (or, “Does this cake taste funny to you?”).

But the law protects and accommodates those who refuse to serve citizens exercising their right to carry the means to defend their own bodies.

Honestly, if you are dumb enough to tell people why you are refusing them service…
