Is “CMC” intended to be “CNC”?
Yes
What exactly is their point?
Someone makes a receiver from a billet with a mill, that’s how they’re made. This is not a new process.
Okay, so perhaps they move the goal posts of what is and is not a firearm, because stupid fearmongering reasons.
Most of us builders will just step up to using raw forgings. There’s no reason a jig can’t be made to work with a blank forging. It will just require more work than a FCG. http://www.tacticalinc.com/ar15-lower-receiver-raw-forging-p-1108.html
When machine shops are outlawed, only outlaws will have machine shops.
That’s a super lame video. They could have simply linked to one that actually shows you stuff, but they’re hoping for ignorance and fear. Without ignorance and fear, the BATFE could never exist.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
