Sorry for the sporadic posting
A death in the family affects the family business considerably. And another personal matter with a family member is impacting business dealings. And, as though this year hasn’t sucked enough, I have skin cancer. Seems my lack of judicious application of SPF50, being in the sun all day, and having a giant Roman nose has consequences. Everything should be fine but my nose hurts.

Shit dude, sounds like you need a vacation. I hope your cancer situation works out OK; I’ve been clear for just over two years now, and I still have to see oncology every three months.
Anyway, I wish you luck. If there’s anything your redneck readers can do to help, please let us know.

Thanks. Taking dad and the father in law gambling tomorrow.

Sorry about all that you have been through lately.
As long as it’s basil or squamous cell you will be just fine. The melanoma is the stuff to be concerned over. Good luck.

When it rains… trouble never seems to hit one item at a time.
Hope it all goes well.

I feel for ya, man, 2015 has taken as its mission to kick us in the nads at every opportunity. I’m on a transplant list myself.

Damn. I’m sorry

I had cancer myself, and lots of chemo. Please take care of yourself and take as much time as you need to heal (not that you needed my permission).

Speedy recovery to you (my dad just made it through Leukemia and chemo) and sorry for your troubles.

Hat time. I started wearing an Akubra Territorial after I had to have a pre-cancerous actinic blotch frozen off my forehead. Got luc,my and got to keep my eyebrow.
( credit to Tam for making me paranoid about skin blotches )

Sorry to hear that, Uncle. Best wishes for a perfect recovery.

Best of luck. Sounds like echos of Tam, and she got through it. Hang in there.

Best of luck to you, Unc. Went through the Melanoma thing (Clark’s Level II) about 10 years ago. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to the horrified gasps from those not-in-the-know when they see you pulling out the SPF 70.
“It goes up that high??” 🙂

Mad dogs and Englishmen …
Just kidding. Hang in there, Unc.

Hang in there man.
Between skin cancer and family strife, I’d have a hard time picking (just bought out the last asshole in the family business, after 16 bad years).

Ugh. Sorry you are going through so many messes at once. I’ve learned a few things in my life: wear a big hat because I am very white and very bald; and never go into business with friends or family.
Each time I’ve broken one of those rules, I’ve gotten burnt. YMMV.
You’ll be on the upswing real soon. Bad things might happen to good people, but good people bounce back fast.

Good healing with the nose thing, but your proboscis never struck me as that large.
All my parents’ generation are fall-leaves, leaving the tree – the wife of Capt. Tibbetts’ just-in-case flight-replacement also left to join her husband.
