Quote of the day
Unfortunately, common sense is just not common. We have to regulate every aspect of people’s lives.
This is what they think of you. Petty, would-be tyrants.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Just stunning. And said without a bit of shame, or hesitation, or thought about how utterly un-American such a thing is to say.

To the extent that common sense has become less common, we have THEIR public schools and THEIR media to thank for it. Common sense has been effectively banned from those institutions.
On the broader scale; authoritarianism requires the suppression of common sense. A sensible, noble, moral people can never be over-thrown.
Authoritarianism and common sense are polar opposites, thus common sense is the enemy of their system and must be put down, maligned, mischaracterized, and attacked, or at the very least ignored, at all cost.
Therefore every leftist will think similar to Jason Dominguez. Every single one. He’s speaking their language.

@Lyle, yes, schooling but no education, just indoctrination centers for dumbing down to make good little serfs, and that at taxpayer expense. They always want more, “for the children”, of course.

The nine year-old driving this has had a taste of power, and has gotten styrofoam banned. What’s he going to wish into the cornfield next? A David Hogg, Junior.

The funniest thing is that in the picture with the article, there is a stack of illegal cups on the table to the left of the kid.

Regulating every aspect of a person’s life is the polar opposite of freedom.

@Gary. It frees you from the weighty responsibility of having to make your own decisions. Believe it or not, that’s a powerful argument in favor of authoritarianism. Combine it with a young, fledgling person’s almost panicked desire to “belong” and you have an overwhelming force. We dismiss it at our peril.

Regulation of the gov variety not only suppresses but supplants common sense, which is the actual plan.
