Probably to avoid traffic congestion. Also have seen one of these off the end of the runway at Centennial Airport, also in a heavy traffic area.

Doesn’t see stop sign, doesn’t stop. Sees sign telling me not to stop, slows down to a stop to try to figure out what the hell is going on.

I think the bigger problem is the crosswalk… do you stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk? Or obey the sign? What do do?????

Pull off the road and stop on the sidewalk? Lawn? Oh, that’s all illegal, too. Damned if you do, and damned if you don’t! Sounds like this scene from the move, “Catch 22”:

How about not stopping for anything. Even the wheel chair in the cross walk.
Course the sign is a size you can only read it stopped.

Happy to see there is total compliance.
Nothing stopped there. And nothing going.
No pedestrians either. It’s an effing no-go zone.
They should put up a lot more of those signs.
