I snagged a Zev OZ.9:
So far, I like it. Except, gun manufacturers, do me a favor: Stop putting hex head screws on things. Seriously, a spendy gun and the screws are so flimsy you think you’re going to strip them.
Anyhoo, more to come.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

An acquired taste maybe…but ya know, different strokes and all. Spendy too, you must have been a very good boy this year, Happy Early Christmas to you!
Agreed on the screws, prone to strip and also to the tool marring the finish around it. Why not recessed hex in this application, or better yet, recessed torx.

So first, Glocks come with screws? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one. Must be for the fancy red dot plate.
Second, what the heck kind of screw isn’t flimsy in that size range? I often wonder if this isn’t more of a problem with over torquing screws. A #4 machine screw is 5 inch pounds. You can probably apply that with your tongue on an allen driver. Locktite people, it’s what’s the doctor ordered. Oh, and a soldering iron to apply heat before you pull the screw back out.
